Our core mission is to help people reconnect to the land

This Spring we are offering a 4 week land stewardship training course at our outdoor classroom.

Our Farm is located in Conyers, GA. about 30 mins from Atlanta

Curriculum Highlights:

Participants will gain hands-on experience in essential farming techniques, including:

  • Soil preparation: tilling and no-till methods

  • Seasonal planting planning and timing

  • Soil health and organic fertilization

  • Comparing ground cover options: straw/hay vs. plastic cover cloth

  • Drip irrigation installation

  • Seed sowing and transplanting techniques

This is an outdoor classroom setting that centers more education than what we consider farm "work". Participants will also learn basic farm tool usage and techniques on using rakes, garden hoes, and non electric hand garden tools.

Volunteer days are on Tuesday and focus more on harvest and planting.

There Is no fee to attend those days

This is fee-based course. Space is limited to ensure personalized instruction.

All attendees will receive free seeds and transplants after the course completion.

Our Outdoor Classroom is a 1/4 of an ace on a 22 acre organic cooperative farm.  There are other active farms working individually on their own respective plots and we do tend to cross pollinate from time to time.  We all work together to help each other grow and operate independently as businesses in our own unique and value added ways.
